Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fiber-treating agent that improves water resistance and heat resistance, which are points at issue in naturally derived fibers, imparts thermal shape memory, improves elasticity (tenacity) and surface feel, and colors naturally derived fibers. This fiber-treating agent contains the following components (A) and (B). (A): A compound having at least one carboxyl group or salt thereof and no condensed ring, in which the hydrogen bond term δH of the Hansen solubility parameter is 18.3 MPa1/2 or less
