Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide: fiber with excellent loft despite being synthetic fiber; and wadding. Provided is wadding containing fiber A and a fiber, which has inorganic particles of 1–20 µm average particle diameter inside the fiber and in which fiber pores of 0.1–5 µm maximum width and 1–50 µm maximum length are formed in fiber axis direction cross-sections of the fiber, the fiber A content in the wadding being 50–100 mass% and down power being 270–400 cm3/g, wherein the fiber A is a fiber containing inorganic particles of 1–20 µm average particle diameter inside the fiber.
