Abstract:

The present invention relates to textile surface structures having a reversible shape memory, comprising at least one elastomer having liquid crystalline segments, garments produced from such structures, fibers and polymer films having a reversible shape memory on the basis of elastomers comprising liquid crystalline segments, and new elastomers comprising liquid crystalline segments, and to a method for the production thereof.
