Abstract:
Disclosed are methods of sterile filtration of a fibrinogen solution, the method being comprised of filtering the solution with one or more filters selected from a glass fiber pre-filter and an aseptic filter made of polysulfone or a derivative thereof. Aseptic fibrinogen solutions obtained by the methods are further disclosed herein.
