Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fibroblast growth factor (FGF)-heparin complex in which a fibroblast growth factor and heparin are bound. Specifically, the bond is formed by chemically binding (i) an amine group of at least one lysine in amino acids constituting the fibroblast growth factor with a carboxyl group of heparin, or (ii) a thiol group of at least one cysteine in amino acids constituting the fibroblast growth factor with a vinyl group added to heparin. In addition, the present invention provides a method for preparing a fibroblast growth factor-heparin complex.
