Abstract:
This field work machine comprises a body position calculation unit 52 that calculates the position of a body, travel control units 6A, 6B that cause the body to automatically travel or manually travel, a ridge form data storage unit 55 that stores ridge form data indicating the forms of ridges, and a raising/lowering control unit 51a that controls raising/lowering operations of a raising/lowering mechanism that changes the ground height of a working device. In a ridge edge area where a ridge and the body or the working device are close to each other, the raising/lowering control unit 51a controls the raising/lowering operations on the basis of the ridge form data.
