Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a filament for material extrusion-type three-dimensional printers, which comprises an aromatic polyester resin and overcomes disadvantages of ABS resin-made filaments for material extrusion-type three-dimensional printers. A filament for material extrusion-type three-dimensional printers, said filament comprising an aromatic polyester resin which contains an aromatic dicarboxylic acid unit and an isophthalic acid unit in amounts of 50 mol% or more and 3 mol% or more, respectively, relative to the whole amount of all of dicarboxylic acid units. It is preferred that the aromatic polyester resin has a melt flow rate (230ºC, 2.16 kgf) of 7 g/10 min. or more and an intrinsic viscosity of 0.80 dL/g or less.
