Abstract:
Disclosed are a file access method and device. The method comprises: receiving, by a file system, a file access request from an application layer; if the file access request is to acquire the content of a file according to a query condition, acquiring metadata of the file, the metadata of the file containing index information about the file, the query condition being to select the content of the file with respect to index information about the file; and according to the index information about the file, determining the content of a file conforming to the query condition, and acquiring the content of all files conforming to the query condition via a disk IO controller, so as to facilitate the application layer to access files. In this manner, the present invention can avoid multiple page fault interrupts and multiple disk IOs caused by one-time query and can reduce memory usage by way of filtering partial data.
