Abstract:
A file management device 5 has: a common feature extraction unit 502 that extracts, from a plurality of data files assigned with the same tag, a feature common to these data files; a tagging rule storage DB 600 that stores a tagging rule in which the feature extracted by the common feature extraction unit 502 and the tag assigned to these data files are associated with each other; and a tag assignment unit 508 that assigns a tag to a newly inputted data file, on the basis of the tagging rule stored in the tagging rule storage DB 600.
