Abstract:
Provided is such an excellently usable file with a simple structure as has a structure
usable with a back width being enlarged from an ordinary state and as can be worked
for changing the back width while being double-spread on the desk. A front cover
(A) and a back cover (B) are equipped at their inner edges with a pair of back width
adjusting portions (1, 2), which are arranged slidably in an approaching/leaving
direction on a back plate (3) so that they may take different back width positions.
A fixing member (6) can be attached to a predetermined position on the inner side
of the back plate (3) so that projections (61, 62) or relating portions set partially
of the fixing member (6) may come, as they are attached, into engagement with through
portions (12, 22) or inner edges (1P, 2P), that is, related portions set partially
of the back width adjusting portions (1, 2). With the related portions being
disposed at a plurality of positions, the inner edges (1p, 2p) or the one-side
related portions participate in the engagement at a widening position, and the
through portions (12, 22) or the other-side related portions participate in
the engagement at a narrowing position.
