Abstract:
Files in which multiple cover sheets are formed from a single resin sheet are files in which the sheet is provided with a thin resin section and adjacent cover sheets are respectively disposed with said thin resin section therebetween. When the cover sheets of such files are opened and closed, because an internal stress is exerted on the thin resin section, not only does that area deteriorate markedly compared to other areas but, if the file is formed so that the cover sheet is easy to open by turning in one direction, the load on the thin resin section when the cover sheet is turned in the reverse direction is increased. The file according to the present invention has multiple cover sheets formed from a first material and a hinge formed from a second material that has a higher elasticity than the first material, and one cover sheet is joined to the other cover sheet via the hinge. As a result, when the one cover sheet is turned relative to the other cover sheet to open or close the file, the internal stress generated by the turning is absorbed by the high elasticity of the hinge.
