Abstract:
The invention relates to a filling machine (1, 40, 50, 60) for the sterile filling of a food product that contains at least one main component (29) and at least one additional component (26) into a plurality of containers (2), in particular paperboard-plastic composite packagings. Said filling machine comprises at least one guide means (33, 52) for guiding the at least one, in particular pasteurized or sterilized, main component (29) from the at least one supply unit (32) to at least one filling outlet (28, 42) of a filling valve (34, 41, 54). The aim of the invention is to simplify the handling of food products that contain at least one main component and at least one additional component. For this purpose, the filling machine comprises a feed container (36) for the at least one additional component (26), a metering device (37, 43, 55, 61), connected to said feed container (36), for metering the additional component (26) into the containers (2) and/or to the main component (29), and in the metering device (37, 43, 55, 61) an electric heating unit (39) for pasteurizing or sterilizing the additional component (26) before it is metered into the containers (2) and/or to the main component (29).
