Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a filling method using a mixed refrigerant, with which the change, during transfer and filling, in the composition of a non-azeotropic mixed refrigerant comprising HFO-1234ze(E) and HFC-32 can be kept within a permissible range for refrigerant performance. This filling method using a mixed refrigerant is characterized in that, when a mixed refrigerant which includes HFC-32 and HFO-1234ze(E), and in which 10-90 wt% of HFC-32 is present in liquid phase with respect to 100 wt% of the total of the HFC-32 and the HFO-1234ze(E), is transferred, as a liquid, from a supply container into a supply-destination container and device to fill the supply-destination container and device, the HFC-32 liquid phase mixture ratio in the mixed refrigerant in the supply container, from initiation to completion of transfer and filling, is to be kept within the range spanning from a HFC-32 target upper-limit composition (x) to the target upper-limit composition (x)-4.0 wt% (a target lower-limit composition), and thus the HFC-32 liquid phase mixture ratio (the initial composition) in the mixed refrigerant in the supply container immediately before transfer and filling is set so as to be in the range of x+y1(a minimum value) to x%(the target upper-limit composition).
