Abstract:
A 2-norbornene addition polymer film which is a film of a 2-norbornene addition polymer having a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) of 250,000-850,000. The film is characterized in that when the film is dissolved in a 100-fold amount by weight of cyclohexane under the conditions of a temperature of 25°C, the 2-norbornene addition polymer has a cyclohexane insoluble content of 1 wt.% or lower. The 2-norbornene addition polymer film has high mechanical strength, is excellent in heat resistance and transparency, and has low water absorption.
