Abstract:
A film capacitor 10 comprising: a dielectric film 13 having a first surface and a second surface that face each other in the thickness direction; and a metal layer 15 provided on at least the first surface of the dielectric film 13. The dielectric film 13 includes a first resin layer 17 comprising a cured product of a first organic material and a second organic material. The first organic material is composed of an organic polymer that has a hydroxyl group and a benzene ring in a repeating unit. The second organic material is composed of 4, 4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, modified 4, 4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, or a mixture thereof. A resin film 19 having a chlorine ion content of less than 70 ppm is disposed between the first resin layer 17 and the metal layer 15 disposed in the first surface of the dielectric film 13.
