Abstract:
A film capacitor which is characterized by comprising: a capacitor element; a first bus bar and a second bus bar for extracting electricity from the capacitor element; a case in which the capacitor element, the first bus bar and the second bus bar are contained; and a filler resin with which the case is filled. This film capacitor is also characterized in that: the first bus bar and the second bus bar respectively comprise a first overlapping portion and a second overlapping portion that overlap each other, with an insulating plate being interposed therebetween; the insulating plate is provided with a first projection on a surface that faces the first overlapping portion, while being provided with a second projection on a surface that faces the second overlapping portion, said second projection being at a position corresponding to the first projection; the first overlapping portion is provided with a first fitting hole into which the first projection is fitted, and the second overlapping portion is provided with a second fitting hole into which the second projection is fitted; and the insulating plate is provided with a through hole that penetrates through the first projection and the second projection.
