Abstract:
This film capacitor is provided with a first dielectric film, a second dielectric film, a first internal electrode, a second internal electrode, a first external electrode, and a second external electrode. The first internal electrode is provided with: a first connection part connected to the first external electrode; a first main electrode part which is connected to the first connection part and thinner than the first connection part; and a first thin film part extending from the first main electrode part toward the second external electrode and thinner than the first main electrode part. The second internal electrode is provided with: a second connection part connected to the second external electrode; and a second main electrode part connected to the second connection part and thinner than the second connection part. The first main electrode part faces the second main electrode part with the first dielectric film therebetween. The second connection part has a reduction region in which the thickness decreases from the second external electrode toward the second main electrode part, and the first thin film part faces the reduction region of the second connection part with the first dielectric film therebetween.
