Abstract:
A film-forming composition, soft- and hard-shelled capsule manufactured using the composition, and manufacturing method. The film-forming composition consists of a pullulan, gellan gum, amino acid humectant, and anti-hygroscopic agent. The film-forming composition forms a gel without requiring a basic metal ion, provides relatively higher moisture retention, does not easily become wet or soften in highly humid environments, and does not become yellow after long storage periods. The composition is composed of a natural material, thereby satisfying a requirement of the public for natural products. The invention has extensive market prospects and application nvalue.
