Abstract:
A film-forming stock solution for use in non-solvent-induced phase separation methods, in which 15 to 40% by weight of a polysulfone-type resin, 5 to 60% by weight of polyvinyl pyrrolidone and 0.1 to 10% by weight of a polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester are dissolved in a water-soluble organic solvent solution. A fiber is spun by a non-solvent-induced phase separation method using the film-forming stock solution and using an aqueous solution as a core solution, thereby producing a porous hollow fiber membrane. The high-performance porous hollow fiber membrane thus produced is not greatly deteriorated in water vapor permeation performance even after being used under a high-temperature environment having a temperature of, for example, 100 to 120ºC, and therefore can be used suitably as a water vapor-permeable membrane for fuel cells.
