Abstract:
Provided is a film opening mechanism wherein, even if the lengths of cylindrical films are different, there is no difference regarding the time for transmitting the cylindrical films from a mandrel, and no creases are generated in the cylindrical film. The mechanism is provided with a mandrel (30) which opens a cylindrical film (F) to a predetermined state when the cylindrical film (F) is covered on the mandrel (30), a film transfer unit (40) which is composed of an upstream side feed belt unit (40A) and a downstream side feed belt unit (40B) to transfer the cylindrical film (F) covered on the mandrel (30) by a feed belt (46) toward the lower side of the mandrel (30) while holding the film (F) between the belt (46) and the mandrel (30), and an adsorption means for adsorbing the mandrel (30) and the feed belt (46) by a magnetic attractive force, wherein the adsorption means is comprised of a permanent magnet embedded in a portion of the mandrel (30) where the cylindrical film (F) is held by the feed belt (46), and a steel core wire embedded in the feed belt (46).
