Abstract:
A film which has high storage stability even in a high-humidity atmosphere and feels good to the touch; a process for producing a film; and a packaging film which contains a perfume and hence emits a pleasant odor upon opening and/or dissolution. The film comprises a water-soluble film and a water-insoluble material present on a surface thereof, wherein the water-insoluble material is used in an amount of 0.1 to 80 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the water-soluble film and is in the form of particles having an average particle diameter of 500 $g(m)m or smaller or of fibers having a fiber length of 10 $g(m)m to 6 mm. A washing article is also provided which is a subdivision package employing the film as a packaging material. Specifically, the film production process comprises fixing the water-insoluble material to a surface of the water-soluble film by coating or printing.
