Abstract:
Provided are: a film having little variation in thermal diffusivity; and a composition that can form said film. This film includes a polyimide resin (A) and a particulate polymer (B). When the area of the particulate polymer (B) is calculated in each of six square segmented regions obtained by setting, at any given location in a scanning transmission electron microscope image of a cross section of the film in the thickness direction, a rectangular observation region having a length t in the film thickness direction and a length of 1.5 x t in the direction perpendicular to the film thickness direction [t represents the shorter length between 25 x L (L representing the average primary particle diameter of the particulate polymer (B)) and the film thickness], and dividing the observation region evenly in two in the thickness direction and evenly in three in the direction perpendicular to the thickness direction, the standard deviation of the areas is 20 or less.
