Abstract:
The present invention relates to a filter for an air cleaner, the filter comprising: a filter element having crests and troughs formed thereon, the filter element being horizontally contained in a case of the air cleaner to filter impurities from air flowing into the case; a filter frame, into which both ends of the filer element are inserted such that the filter element is fixed, the filter frame being made of a waterproof elastic material to form a frame along the edge of the filter element, the filter frame being horizontally contained in the case such that parts thereof are fixed to coupling portions of upper and lower cases of the case; and sealing protrusions extendedly formed on the lower surface of the filter frame near front and rear sides, the sealing protrusions being inserted into the troughs of the filter element along the longitudinal direction of the filter element to seal the troughs, wherein the filter frame and the sealing protrusions seal the coupling portions of the upper and lower cases.
