Abstract:
Provided are a filter and a filter assembly that have excellent producibility at low cost, high mechanical strength, as well as both waterproofness and air permeability. A filter 2 comprises a porous sintered body 3 formed by sintering a compression-molded article, and a fluorine-based compound coating film 4 formed on a surface of the sintered body 3. The sintered body 3 has at least a dendritic metal powder and a metal structure derived from a low melting point element having a lower melting point than the dendritic metal powder. Dendritic copper powder is used as the dendritic metal powder, and tin powder is used as metal powder of the low melting point element. The metal structure is formed by a non-alloy copper phase, a non-alloy tin phase, and a copper tin alloy phase.
