Abstract:
Provided is a filter cleaning device for an air-conditioner, comprising a flat filter, a brush unit having a brush (633) and at least one comb-like member (634, 638), a driving unit (730) and a controller (750). The brush is configured to contact with the filter surface and rotatably supported. The comb-like member is configured to comb bristles of the brush. The controller is configured to control the driving unit such that the relative position of the brush unit moves from one end side to the other end side of the filter within a predetermined cleaning period while the brush rotates in a first rotation direction, and such that the brush rotates at least partially in a second rotation direction during or at the end of the cleaning period, the second rotation direction being opposite to the first rotation direction.
