Abstract:

This filter cleaning device (1) has: a rotating cleaning body (2); a dust box (3); a cover body (4) mounted to the opening (3a) of the dust box (3); and a dust removal body (5) provided to the cover body (4). The cover body (4) is provided with an opening (4a), and a part of the rotating cleaning body (2) protrudes from the opening (4a). The rotating cleaning body (2) is mountable and removable and is rotatably supported near the opening (3a) of the dust box (3). The upper ends (3g) of sidewalls at at least three sides of the dust box (3), the sidewalls including the sidewalls of both the end surfaces of the dust box (3), the end surfaces facing in the axial direction of the rotating cleaning body (2), are located vertically above the lower end (2c) of the rotating cleaning body (2). The front end of the dust removal body (5) is formed extending from the cover body (4) toward the inside of the dust box (3). Thus, in the provided filter cleaning device and in an air conditioner provided with the filter cleaning device, the dust containing capacity of the dust box for containing dust is increased to enable the frequency of dust disposal to be reduced, and dust disposal is facilitated.
