Abstract:
Provided is a filter clogging detection apparatus which can detect clogging of respective filters without restriction of the cooling air intake direction. The filter clogging detection apparatus detects clogging of a filter (2) which prevents passing of dust contained in cooling air (7) for cooling an object (6) to be cooled. The filter clogging detection apparatus is provided with force detectors (11) for detecting a force biased by the filter (2) when the cooling air (7) passes through the filter (2), each force detector being disposed on the downstream-side surface of the filter (2) in the flow direction of the cooling air (7), and a clogging detection means (12) which determines that clogging has occurred in the filter (2) when a value detected by each force detector (11) exceeds a predetermined threshold value.
