Abstract:
The present invention relates to: an antimicrobial filter having coated on a support thereof a recombinant polypeptide in which a biocompatible polypeptide is coupled with an antimicrobial peptide; and an air purification device comprising the antimicrobial filter. The antimicrobial filter of the present invention is safe for the human body, while the antimicrobial peptide included in the recombinant polypeptide can exhibit antimicrobial activity against various microorganisms, and, thus, the antimicrobial filter can be effectively used in everyday products, air purification devices, etc. that require antimicrobial activity.
