Abstract:
Provided is a filter control method comprising: accepting a plurality of parameters which define a frequency response of a filter element used to control a sound signal and which include a parameter defining a central inclined portion between a low-side inclined portion and a high-side inclined portion; creating, from the plurality of parameters, a response curve representing the frequency response of the filter element in a two-dimensional plane in which one coordinate axis represents frequency and another coordinate axis represents volume level; and supplying filter coefficients to a filter such that the frequency response thereof approaches the response curve.
