Abstract:
Disclosed are a filter cover for a washing machine and a washing machine, the filter cover comprising a cover plate (6), wherein the cover plate (6) is provided with a mounting structure capable of being in an open/closed connection with a washing machine housing (2); a rear side of the cover plate (6) is provided with a water-holding chamber (9) having an opening such that after the cover plate (6) is opened, the opening of the water-holding chamber (9) corresponds to a mounting hole of a filter core (3) of a washing machine filter (10), enabling residual water flowing out of the washing machine filter (10) to flow through the opening into the water-holding chamber (9). The washing machine comprises a housing (2), wherein the housing (2) is provided with a mounting hole (7) for the filter core (3) of the filter (10) to be assembled/removed, a filter cover (1) that can be opened and closed is assembled at the mounting hole (7) so that after the filter cover (1) is opened and a user removes the filter core (3) of the filter (10), residual water flowing out of the filter (10) flows through the opening into the water-holding chamber formed by the filter cover (1). By means of this arrangement, in the process of a user removing the filter core (3) of the washing machine filter (10) for cleaning, the filter cover (1) is used to collect the residual water flowing out of the filter (10), thereby preventing residual water from overflowing onto the floor of the user's home and creating contamination.
