Abstract:
The invention relates to a filter device (1) for venting a fuel tank on a motor vehicle. It is essential to the invention that an additional filter module (2) that can be connected to the filter device (1) is provided, said filter module having a one-piece or integral filter module housing (3) with at least two serially connected filter chambers (4, 5). The hydrocarbon retention capacity can thereby be flexibly adjusted.
