Abstract:
Provided is a filter device that is configured by installing an orifice member to the fluid passage of a filter body and is capable of avoiding being functionally impaired by residue such as shavings generated during the installing of the orifice member. A filter device 1 is provided with: a filter body 2 that has a fluid passage 15; and an orifice member 3 that is installed in the fluid passage 15. The orifice member 3 is provided with a body 21 that has an orifice 24, a first flange 22 that is press-fitted into the large-diameter part 15A of the fluid passage 15, and a second flange 23 that forms a closed trap space 25 between itself and the first flange 22. A knurling tool is provided to the outer peripheral surface of the first flange 22. Shavings generated during the installing of the orifice member 3 to the filter body 2 are captured in the trap space 25.
