Abstract:
A laser device (1) is provided with a laser delivery fiber (LDF), which is a multimode fiber, and a filter (F), which is a filter device. The filter (F) is configured so that the loss of light that is generated in the laser delivery fiber (LDF) and belongs to a wavelength band including the peak wavelength of one or both of Stokes light and anti-Stokes light from four light-wave mixing involving a plurality of modes is preferred over the loss of light belonging to another wavelength band.
