Abstract:
The present invention relates to a filter element which finely separates/filters particulate matter in liquids and gases. The present invention addresses the costly problems of: the ease with which a fine filter element may clog; reductions in filtration speed; and low mass productivity as a result of the difficulty of producing/assembling the element. In this filter element, a filter sheet (120, 220) is provided with: an annular filter section (121, 221); a plurality of first support sections (122, 222) which support the annular filter section; and a first pedestal (123, 223) connected to the first support sections. A spacer sheet (130, 230) is provided with: a second pedestal (132, 232) having substantially the same shape as the first pedestal; and a plurality of second support sections (131, 231) having substantially the same shape and the same orientation as the first support sections. A plurality of filter sheets (120, 220) are stacked on top of each other having spacer sheets (130, 230) interposed therebetween. Therefore, this filter element is easily produced, and can be used in a high speed fine filter device.
