Abstract:
[Problem] To obtain a filter element 1 wherein re-dispersal of collected liquid does not occur by preventing distribution variations in an adhesive when an upper end cap is attached to the upper end part of a filter assembly by the adhesive.
[Solution] An upper end cap 3 is attached to the upper end part of a filter assembly 2. The upper end cap 3 has an inner peripheral wall 20 mated inside of a central space part 10 of an inside filter member 12, an intermediate wall 21 surrounding the outer periphery of an outside core member 13, and an outer peripheral wall 22 surrounding the outer periphery of an outside filter member 14. The height of the intermediate wall 21 is lower than the heights of the outer peripheral wall 22 and the inner peripheral wall 20. The inside of the upper end cap 3 is filled with an adhesive 5 to a depth burying the intermediate wall 21, and the upper end part of the filter assembly 2 is attached to the upper end cap 3 in a state such that the upper end part is in the adhesive 5.
