Abstract:

Provided is a filtering method using a filter which is for filtering nucleated cells and is capable of improving the recovery rate of nucleated cells. This filtering method is a method for filtering nucleated cells and includes: a step for preparing a filter in which at least any one among metals and metal oxides is a main component, a plurality of through holes are formed, the diameters of the inscribed circles of the through holes are smaller than the sizes of nuclei of the nucleated cells, and the inscribed circles of the through holes are tangent to all sides which define the openings of the through holes; and a step for filtering a liquid containing the nucleated cells through the filter.
