Abstract:
This filter material for a filter has a layered body structure in which a long-fiber nonwoven fabric and a wet-laid nonwoven fabric are layered. The wet-laid nonwoven fabric is structured from vinylon, polyester, and polyvinyl alcohol, is positioned farthest upstream with regard to ventilation, has a surface roughness (SMD) of 2.7μm or greater on the surface that is positioned farthest upstream with regard to ventilation, and either (a) has a surface roughness (SMD) of 3.0μm or greater on the surface that is layered against the long-fiber nonwoven fabric, or (b) has a feeling of roughness (MMD) of 0.02 or greater on the surface that is layered against the long-fiber nonwoven fabric.
