Abstract:
Disclosed is a filter mechanism that is provided on pumps and the like, which can remove foreign matter that adheres to the surface of the filter and which can thereby prevent filter clogging by foreign matter. A casing (7) houses a rotatable filter (4, 4A, 4B). A space is formed between the filter (4, 4A, 4B) and the inner surface of the casing (7i) in the radial direction. In said space in the radial direction, a pillar (26, 26A) is disposed and said pillar (26, 26A) extends parallel to the axis of rotation (2) of the casing (7).
