Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide a filter medium for air filters that not only has a high collection efficiency and low pressure loss but also has a high capacity to retain dust, a filter pack, an air filter unit, and a manufacturing method for a filter medium for air filters. Provided is a filter medium for air filters (1) in which pre-collection material (10), a first porous membrane (31), and a second porous membrane (32) are disposed in order from the upstream side, wherein: the first porous membrane (31) and the second porous membrane (32) each have a pressure loss of 30 Pa to 90 Pa when air passes through at a flow speed of 5.3 cm/second and a particle collection efficiency of 95% to 99.9% when air containing NaCl particles with a particle size of 0.3 μm passes through at a flow speed of 5.3 cm/second; and the pre-collection material (10) has a thickness greater than 0.4 mm and has a pressure loss of 5 Pa or greater and less than 55 Pa when air passes through at a flow speed of 5.3 cm/second and a particle collection efficiency of 15% or greater and less than 85% when air containing NaCl particles with a particle size of 0.3 μm passes through at a flow speed of 5.3 cm/second.
