Abstract:
Provided is a filter having a high classification characteristic and a method for manufacturing the filter. This filter comprises a mesh-like sieve part 10 which is woven using a wire material 20A formed of a predetermined resin so that wire materials 20A, 20B three-dimensionally cross from at least two mutually different directions (X, Y), the filter classifying desired granular or powder-like objects to be sieved from an opening section 10A of the sieve part 10, wherein the wire materials 20A, 20B have recesses and protrusions formed, through a sandblast treatment using a predetermined water-soluble blast material, by processing an upper surface U of the opening section 10A through which the object to be sieved pass, and side surfaces S3, S4 that form a gap between the upper surface U and a lower surface D.
