Abstract:
The filter-press comprises a frame (1) being affixed on upholds (2, 3, 4), a supporting plate (5) mounted on the upholds (3) which are arranged in the middle portion of the frame (1), blocks of filter plates (8) which are disposed on both sides of the supporting plate, and a means for clamping the blocks of filter plates (8). The means for clamping the blocks of filter plates (8) is comprised of clamping plates (9, 10), a drive (11) and tie rods (12). The tie rods for clamping the blocks of filter plates (8) are so arranged that they may be displaced both horizontally along a longitudinal axis of the filter-press and vertically in relation thereto. The ends of the tie rods are jointedly connected to the drive (11) whilst their opposite ends are articulated to the clamping plate (10) so that articulation shafts (18) may be extended.
