A filter provided with a waveguide formed in a dielectric surrounded by a conductor wall, wherein the conductor wall has at least one control wall protruding into the waveguide, the control wall has a leading end part in the protruding direction of the control wall, and a central part in the protruding direction, and the leading end part has a wall section having a wall thickness different from that of the central part.
