Provided is a filtered cigarette in which when filter elements capable of rotating relative to each other about the longitudinal axis of a filter are made to rotate relatively, the amount of relative rotation between the respective elements can be determined without requiring visual confirmation. The filtered cigarette according to the present invention is provided with: a tobacco rod part; and a filter which is connected to one end of the tobacco rod part via tip paper, and of which the outer circumference is rolled up by the tip paper, wherein the filter comprises a first segment and a second segment that is rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the filter relative to the first segment, the tip paper comprises a first band part fixed on the first segment and a second band part which is fixed on the second segment, and which is disposed such that an annular end face thereof abuts against an annular end face of the first band part, and the annular end faces of the first and second band parts are provided with engagement claws that are to be meshed with each other.
