Abstract:
A filtering apparatus provides a uniformly distributed precoating agent (P) in a gas (EA) being processed and directed to a filter (8). To this end, the filtering apparatus (5) is provided with a flow inlet portion (10) which extends horizontally in the direction of width in a slit-like or rectangular shape. The flow inlet portion (10) has an upper rim portion in which a recessed retention portion (12) is formed to open downward when viewed in the longitudinal direction of the flow inlet portion (10). The recessed retention portion (12) is formed continuously in the longitudinal direction of the flow inlet portion (10). The flow inlet portion (10) is also provided, at a predetermined position in the longitudinal direction thereof, with a precoating agent nozzle (11), allowing the precoating agent (P) and a gas to issue through the precoating agent nozzle (11) in a jet toward the surface deep inside the recessed retention portion (12).
