Abstract:
Provided are a filtering medium for air filters, a filter pack, and an air filter unit, capable of retarding deterioration in collection efficiency. The PAO permeability ratio (final permeability/initial permeability) of the filtering medium is less than 3.0, the ratio being between an initial permeability of polyalphaolefin particles determined when air that includes the polyalphaolefin particles containing a fluororesin and having a number median diameter of 0.25 µm is passed through the filtering medium at a flow rate of 5.3 cm/seconds, and a final permeability of the polyalphaolefin particles determined when the pressure loss increases by 250 Pa as a result of continuous passing of the air that includes the polyalphaolefin particles having a number median diameter of 0.25 µm at a flow rate of 5.3 cm/seconds.
