Abstract:
The present invention relates to a filtering system capable of selective dust collection. More particularly, the present invention relates to a filtering system capable of selective dust collection in a cyclone type, wherein the system is structured such that the same can be operated continuously using a partial backwashing method, and the system has a multi-cyclone structure applied thereto such that dust can be collected selectively according to the diameter size of the material to be recovered, thereby reducing the maintenance cost and lengthening the life of the HEPA filter. A filtering system capable of selective dust collection comprises: a first separator portion comprising a cyclone for separating particles from a fluid and a first flow tube through which the fluid flows after the particles have been filtered out by the cyclone; a second separator portion comprising multiple second cyclones installed to separate particles that are smaller than the particles separated by the cyclone, among the particles flowing through the first flow tube, the diameter of the second cyclones being smaller than that of the cyclone, and a second flow tube through which the fluid flows after the particles have been filtered out by the second cyclones; and a third separator portion comprising a metal filter installed to separate particles that are smaller than the particles separated by the second cyclones, among the particles flowing through the second flow tube, a second cleaning nozzle for spraying compressed air toward the metal filter in order to separate the particles captured by the metal filter, a third flow tube through which the fluid flows and is discharged after passing through the metal filter, and a metal filter housing, in which the metal filter is installed, and to which the second flow tube and the third flow tube are connected, respectively, so as to form a channel along which particle separation through the metal filter occurs. The present invention is advantageous in that the multi-cyclone structure enables selective dust collection according to the particle size of the material to be recovered, thereby reducing the maintenance cost.
