Abstract:
Provided is a filtration apparatus which has a simplified piping mechanism and enables superior uniform cleaning of a filtration layer assembly thereof by means of back-washing. The filtration apparatus comprises a filtration layer assembly for filtration of raw water, a plurality of lines of water collection pipes for collecting filtered water filtered through the filtration layer assembly, and a pressurizing conduit for feeding the water by pressure to the plurality of lines of the water collection pipes, whereby the filtration layer assembly is back-washed by the transfer of water from the pressurizing conduit to the water collection pipes. The filtration apparatus is characterized in that a communicating part is provided for communication between the water collection pipes to allow the water transferred from the pressurizing conduit to move between the water collection pipes by a pressure difference applied to each water collection pipe.
