Abstract:
A filler element (21) substantially fills the volume of a container (11) on the side of a filter (20) spanning the open end of a filtering vessel (15) when filtering of a specimen in the latter is taking place in a centrifuge. The filler element (21) also protects the filter (20) when the filtering vessel (15) is not in the container (11).
