Abstract:
The invention relates to a filtration device especially for large-format membrane cassettes which are disposed on one side of a distributor plate comprising a feeding connection for a medium which is to be filtered, a retentate connection for a retentate which is to be discharged and at least one filtrate connection for the filtrate which is to be discharged. Said device also comprises a holding device and a clamping plate. According to the invention, the distributor plate is embodied as a flat plate, whereby the filtrate connection is joined to the distributor plate via a connecting body on the lower side thereof, opposite the membrane cassettes. The connecting body comprises a duct and is connected to the distributor plate by means of duct holes which are arranged in an oblique manner with respect to said distributor plate. Said holes correspond to the duct openings in the membrane cassettes. The invention also relates to a filtration method, especially with large-format membrane cassettes, which are arranged between a clamping plate and a vertical plate provided with a duct for the charging liquid and a duct for the retentate. The charging liquid is introduced into the duct from the opposite ends thereof via two connections, and the retentate is discharged via two opposite connections of said duct.
