Abstract:
A filtration device, a filtration method, a method of desalinating sea water by using the device, and a method of desulfurizing petroleum, the device comprising a filter formed in a cylindrical shape by stacking a plurality of rings on each other, an outer tube for storing these rings, and a pressurizing means capable of applying or removing a specified pressing force to one end of the filter&semi the filtration method comprising the steps of feeding filtrated liquid into the center hole of the filter, and filtering by taking out, as filtrated liquid, the liquid moved to the outer peripheral surface side of the filter after passing the filter, wherein, when the filter is clogged, for back washing, washing liquid is allowed to forcibly flow from the outer peripheral surface side of the filter to the center hole of the filter to remove solid matters accumulated between the rings&semi the method of desalinating sea water by using the device&semi the method of removing sulfur and sulfur compounds from crude oil, heavy oil, and light oil.
